Testing the waters

$0.00
Sold

Late summer by the ocean. A quick dip before sunset, but what is the water like?

This picture is part of a series of impasto oil paintings inspired by Sydney’s many seawater pools. Paint has been generously applied using a palette knife rather than a brush, giving texture and depth. Close up textures are abstract colours, resolving in clarity as you step back to take in the whole painting.

Impasto oil on canvas, 35cm x 35cm, price includes framing in white wood.
