Smaller framed prints:

These hand-made, black and white linocut prints are affordable and easily transportable. They come professionally framed and look terrific!

About the prints:

The prints measure approximately 14cm x 9cm and are hand printed (using a spoon!) with water-based black ink on white archival Arches Reeves art paper.

The images are bevel-mounted under "antique white" Bainbridge board behind glass in a dark red-brown, 3cm wide, flat wood frame measuring 35x30cm. An adjustable hanging clip allows immediate wall placement by hook or wire. Some prints are marked "N/E" (meaning "non-editioned" - i.e. unlimited print run) newer prints are editions of 100. They are signed on the right by the artist.

The smaller framed prints are AU$100 each. You can also purchase unframed prints for $55 each. For ordering details, see the Contact page.

You can order online and have the artwork delivered straight to your home. If you are buying for distant friends and relatives, pictures can be directly delivered - anywhere in Australia.

Publications

Rory has been publishing calendars showcasing his linocut prints since 1992. "Brick" is the second book that has been published featuring his artwork.

2006 Calendar: No longer available

The calendars are 15cm wide X 42cm high. There is one line for each day and lots of room for notes. Each month has a handy reference to last month and next month. The calendar includes all the full moons, charity days, arts events, holidays, school terms, religious days and special events you could poke a stick at.

Sorry the year is over! No 2007 calendar :-( There will be a 2008 calendar though :-)

Brick - the book:

The book started with the pictures. After attending the opening of Rory's 2004 exhibition of linocuts, poet Pieter Koster saw the stories that needed to be written.
